The Sports Office in the Swiss canton of Solothurn wants to promote bike skills and is therefore offering a Modular Pumptrack to its citizens.

Schools, municipalities or clubs can rent a Modular Pumptrack on very favorable terms. The prerequisite is that two or three people on site can help with the 3h set up and dismantling of the track. A flat, hard place (tartan, asphalt, no lawn) in the size 20 x 15 meters must be available.

The Modular Pumptrack can be used by bike, BMX, scooters, skateboards and inline skates (helmets compulsory). It does not require special knowledge and promotes the riders’ skill and balance, strength and endurance. The track can be rented for three weeks at the time.

This awesome programm will help to promote cycling in general as well as pumptracks as a local leisure infrastructure. If you want your community to start a similar program, make sure to hand them this document from Solothurn’s Sports Office as a great example of how it can be done.

The initiative in the canton of Solothurn was initiated with the help of our partners at the Flying Metal Crew, who will be touring Switzerland again this summer with a Modular Pumptrack of their own. Also PZ Pumptrack Austria is bringing a lot of excitment with their M0DULAR Pumptrack to the kids in Austria.
