GORILLA is the largest Swiss health advocacy program for children and adolescents. The goal of the program is to motivate children and adolescents to maintain a balanced and sustainable diet, balanced consumption and to do more sports in order to counter obesity and lack of exercise. These goals are met in a youthful and sustainable fashion.

Gorilla coaches offer workshops in schools where youngsters learn about the positive aspects of sports and cooking. A complimentary online plattform offers complementary e-learning and the chance to win great prizes, from meetings with sports heroes to full weekend trips for a whole class.

In 2013 we received the opportunity to introduce mountain biking to the Gorilla universe. We designed a series of e-learning videos that introduced young people to the basics of the sport in three different levels, on the trail and on the pumptrack. These videos were followed by a series of workshops and camps from Laax to Lenzerheide.

Up to this day, mountain biking is still part of the Gorilla world and we‘re proud to have contributed to this amazing program.

Today, people still ask us one question: „What do you do exactly?“. „We develop mountain biking destinations.“ is our answer, but many cannot imagine what that might involve. That's why we decided to launch this blog series called WORK, in which we'll give you some insights from our work and the results that have emerged from it.

You can also get the insights on all 15 cases from our Mountainbike development work by downloading this Ebook we've put together for you.
